Slick is actively showing and recently qualified for 2023 Vegas Tuffest Jr World Championship. When Slick isn’t showing, you can find him working on the ranch.

Oakie is a 2017 Bay Stallion, offering a deep set of natural talents. Well rounded with training in cowhorse, reining and roping, he is also the main horse in the working string on the ranch at Swaney Horse & Cattle. Oakie is as versatile as they come. You can’t beat him out of the box heeling, he is a great calf roping horse, he can do a reining pattern, he can slide, he’ll eat up a reined cow pattern and herd work and he loves to work on the ranch.

Cocaine is a 2019 Black Stallion. He was started in a cutting program and did very well, however he was purchased to ranch and rope on. He was sent to Paul Griemsman and started on the heel side where he showed a lot of promise. Naturally cowy with a big stop, and a phenomenal disposition. He is a paternal brother to up and coming rope horse “The Darkk Side” ridden by Miles Baker & Trevor Brazile. If you’re looking for an outcross to add some serious cow with some height, Cocaine stands 15 hands with no crosses to High Brow Cat, Dual Rey or Smart Little Lena. Cocaine’s first foals were born in 2022.

Sylvester is a 2015 Sorrel Stallion. Cowy and talented, he was started in a cutting program then bought to ranch on and sire quality prospects. A working horse on the historic OW Ranch, he’s no stranger to high pressure situations from rough country and tough jobs, to the branding pens and ranch rodeos. Reliable as they come, he’s also the most popular kid’s horse on the place. You can find Sylvester anywhere there are cows and a job to be done. Out of Crown Ranch‘s prestigious program, his pedigree has also been thoroughly tested in the cutting pen with 6 full siblings with NCHA earnings exceeding $106,468+.

His progeny are young but already showing the quality of structure and mind that Gabe & Reata strive for in their horses. If you’re looking for a pretty head, cow sense and structure, he’s the stallion for you.

Yeti is a 2015 Black Stallion, with a following both in Oregon and Montana. He is a cadillac ranch horse currently back in training with with a reined cow horse trainer and gearing up for a show season.

Guapo is a 2011 Red Roan Stallion, you might recognize from Buck’s clinic as one of the primary horses he teaches on.  Guapo’s work ethic has been tested in clinics all over the world. Guapo is one of the biggest Metallic Cat son’s currently on the market, standing at 15.1 hands tall.  His progeny are athletic with competitive cow sense and some height.
