Phantom Training Semen Evaluation Collection and Freezing Semen Storage Evaluation and Fertility Improvement Plans

Welcome to Rising C Stallion Station

Our stallion services provide stallion owners with flexible options for fresh, cooled, or frozen semen programs, available on-site or on a haul-in basis. Our laboratory handles stallion collection, semen evaluation, and freezing, with shipments available for all processing methods.

On-site collection is scheduled Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from February through June. During the off-season we offer phantom training, evaluations and collection and freezing by appointment.

2026 Fee Schedule

Stand with Us – Base Service

ENROLLMENT DEADLINE NOVEMBER 1

Base Service – $850 payable yearly.

This covers both haul-in and resident stallions and includes the following:
Booking Management – We handle all breeding contracts and mare owner communications.
Breeding Summary – Receive a summary of mares bred for your breeding report.
Web Listing – Your stallion will be listed and promoted on our website.
Print Product Creation – Our signature double sided stallion flyer.
Market & Pedigree Research – Gain insights to optimize your stallion’s breeding potential.
Social Media Marketing – Strategic promotion across social platforms.
Inclusion in Rising C Campaigns – Eligible stallions with suitable photos/videos will be featured in magazine ads and other marketing materials.

Additional Perks:
Racehorse Stallion Sheets – If you would like to upgrade your flyer back and web page with a stallion sheet  we offer a in house service. Rising C Race Sheet Upgrade – $125 (Comparison: RobinGlenn Pricing – $250)
Discounted Design & Product Sourcing – Whether you need banner designs for vinyl, hats, merch or something else. You have access to our designer at a great rate.

Types & Options

Haul-In Service – Base Service Only

Your stallion remains in your care and is hauled in to meet collection demands. A frozen semen backup is required for use in case of emergencies.

Resident Stallion – Base Service + Boarding & Care

Your stallion resides with us and receives full-service management and care. Billed separately from the base service – Contact us for pricing and availability.

Frozen Only – Base Service Only

We stand your stallion as a frozen only stallion using frozen semen.

Stallion Health

Equine Viral Arteritis VN test – $100 

Equine Viral Arteritis vaccine – $75  

Frozen Semen Storage

Frozen Storage for a Year – $400 paid yearly

Phantom Training

We train your stallion to be collected using the phantom and AV 

◦ 1 hour session, includes collection and evaluation of semen – $350  

◦Extended session fee, if session exceeds 1 hour, rate increases by $50 for each additional 15 minutes 

Boarding is billed separately.

Short-term board for Stallion – $40/day (individual stallion paddock)

Late fee for shipped container not being returned within 7 days – $100

Semen Evaluation

The initial semen evaluation includes determination of 1) gel-free volume, 2) percent sperm motility (total and progressive), 3) sperm concentration, and 4) sperm viability.

If the semen is to be used for fresh insemination, the appropriate volume of raw semen is mixed with semen extender so that each insemination dose contains at least 500 million progressively motile sperm cells.

If the semen is to be used for shipped-cooled insemination, the appropriate volume of raw semen is mixed with semen extender so that each insemination dose contains at least one billion progressively motile sperm cells.

After processing, the semen is packaged into an appropriate shipping or cooling container. The stallion owner may provide their own shipping container or rent an Equitainer® or Equine Semen Transporter from our facility.

Cooled-transported semen is generally shipped to the mare owner using FedEx; the stallion or mare owner is responsible for paying shipping charges prior to shipment.
